July: MPAC Piano Festival

MPAC pianists can sign up with friends or to meet new piano friends. Practice and rehearsals are scheduled over six weeks of summer, leading to themed performances featuring fabulous piano solos, duets, duos, trios, quartets.

November: American Music Month

Performances this month feature teaching artists and students sharing music by American songwriters and composers.

December: Make Music Winter 

MPAC is the sponsoring St Louis area organization. The nationwide Make Music Winter celebration takes place in 20 cities each year on the winter solstice, December 21: all free, joyful, and profoundly participatory.

March: MPAC Auditions

Participating students audition to advance to MFMC Competition and/or to be awarded scholarship to a selected summer music camp.

April: MPAC Festival

The NFMC Festivals Program is designed to give musicians of all abilities the opportunity to perform and receive yearly evaluation in a non-competitive environment. Performers are awarded through NFMC Festivals Cup Award Plan and with Honors Certificates.

May: National Music Week

Celebrated the first Sunday through second Sunday in May. Programming may include Honors recital for Festival goers who received Superior ratings, recognition for Essay Contest winner, and private/collaborative studio and public recital.

June: Make Music Day

MPAC is the sponsoring St Louis area organization for this global intiative. Ring in the summer with a worldwide day of music! On June 21, celebrate Make Music St. Louis across the city on streets, sidewalks, parks, and venues you know and love, with music performed by anyone and free for everyone.
